The Power Of Meditation

The techniques of mindfulness meditation are very simple they... just... take... practise.Anyone that is interested in giving meditation a try, will see results. The techniques first teach us how to calm and quiet the mind and the body. Next we practise observing the movement of the mind with some distance. Think of this like observing the river flow from the bank of the river, rather than being in the river. By doing this we can objectively notice thoughts ,feelings and emotions without being controlled by them. From there we can decide what to do next. We can continue, enhance, redirect, examine further or kindly disengage.This has an immediate and long term impact on our emotional states, our resiliency and our overall welling.
